Get ready for a night of glitter, glamour, and murder at Cave Castle, as we present Strictly Come Murder, an exciting murder mystery evening brought to you by Tall Tales Mysteries. Taking place on Friday, 14th March 2025, this event promises to be full of laughter, suspense, and a dash of ballroom drama.

The Plot

Inspired by the hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing, the stakes are high in this murder mystery! With jealousy, rivalry, and drama building up in the final round of the dance competition, tensions are running hotter than the cha-cha. Judge Arlene Wright isn’t pulling any punches, demanding flawless performances and refusing to award her precious “10” until the celebrity contestants get their moves just right. Professional dancers Cha Cha Charlie and Foxy Trott have had enough of her strict criticism, but could things take a deadly turn when someone decides to put an end to the competition… for good?

Join celebrity dancers Bess Foote (reality TV star) and Shaker Legge (pop star) as they fight for the top spot – and their lives – in this thrilling night where no one is safe from murder on the dancefloor!

  • Cod Steak with chunky tomato and dill Provençale sauce

  • Glazed Lemon Tart with fruit coulis

  • Tiramisu Cheesecake with chocolate sauce

  • Retro Ballroom: Embrace a classic ballroom style with a vintage-inspired outfit, like a full-skirted dress or a tailored suit with a bow tie.

  • Judge or Host Look: Channel a TV judge or presenter with something smart yet stylish—elegant blazers, tailored trousers, or an evening gown.

Whether you want to twirl in sequins or simply enjoy the night in your own style, the choice is yours!

Ticket Information

Tickets are priced at £45 per person, which includes the murder mystery show and a three-course meal.

Make your evening even more special by staying overnight in one of our cosy rooms. Accommodation rates start from £135 single occupancy and £190 double/twin occupancy, which includes tickets, breakfast and full access to our health club facilities.

Please note, parties of 5 or fewer will be seated at Captain’s tables with other groups of a similar size. Groups of 6 or more will have their own dedicated table. We encourage larger groups to book together under a single lead booker to ensure you are seated together, as individual bookings will be counted separately.
